Services

Expert laceration repair, at your door.

Laceration repair is what we do. Every treatment decision is made by Dr. Gildin after he evaluates the injury.

Primary service

Mobile laceration repair

Physician evaluation and treatment of suitable cuts and lacerations at the patient’s location. Treatment may include wound assessment, irrigation, local anesthesia, sutures, staples, or tissue adhesive, as clinically appropriate. Children and adults are both welcome. A parent or legal guardian consents for patients under 18.

Tissue adhesive wound closure

For suitable wounds, medical-grade tissue adhesive may offer a convenient alternative to traditional sutures. Dr. Gildin decides whether this method is appropriate after evaluating the injury.

Scalp staple repair

Assessment and closure of suitable scalp lacerations using medical staples when indicated.

Wound evaluation & care

Evaluation of minor traumatic wounds, cleansing, dressings, and recommendations for follow-up.

Suture & staple removal

Follow-up evaluation and removal when medically appropriate, including assessment of wound healing.

Also available, after individual assessment

Concierge Urgent Care Evaluation

Physician evaluation of selected non-emergency medical complaints, depending on availability, clinical appropriateness, and location.

IV hydration & medication administration

Selected physician-supervised mobile IV services may be available after an individualized medical assessment. These are not routine wellness infusions, and they aren’t appropriate for everyone.

Good to knowNot every wound can be treated at home. Dr. Gildin will tell you if an injury needs an emergency department. This service is not a substitute for emergency medical care. For severe bleeding, major trauma, difficulty breathing, loss of consciousness, or other potentially life-threatening emergencies, call 911 or seek emergency department care immediately.
